Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful holiday weekend!
I need a function to truncate customer data after X months after the appointment. Customer data is no longer required after a certain time after the appointment.
We are planning to use Amelia only for appointments and weare forced to comply with the data protection regulations in our country. Maybe theres a solution to mix or to randomize these informations. I can also imagine that a cron script could do this job properly.
It would be good if the statistics on the number of appointments made were still complete. Can Amelia offer such a functionality in the near future?
Hi Markus81,
Thank you for your inquire.
Unfortunately we do not have that option at the moment but the only data from the customers that is saved is in database.
That data is only that users enters while populating the booking form.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Thanks for your reply Bogdan,
maybe Amelia could offer a simple cron script, that anonymizes older data records, e.g. the name and surname field after a user-defined time-range?
This would be very decisive for us as we are obliged to comply with data protection regulations.
Best regards
Markus
Hi Markus,
If you would like I can reach to our developers and ask them if this is possible.
Best regards.

That would be great. I'm sure that we are not the only one who needs such a feature because of the strict regulations in the EU.
Hello hello! I was wondering if by now there is a solution to Markus problem. Besides that... do you happen to have any kind of data protection information regarding contract data processing etc. that we may use in our website's data protection section? Thank you for your help! Best, Sandra
