Hi I have recently followed the steps to installing the API to sync my Google Calendar with Amelia for my domain joshuatree.dk. It works fine when someone makes an appointment, the entry shows up in Google Calendar, but I thought is was a two way sync. Can my Amelia Calendar sync with my Google Calendar so it shows my existing google events and makes those times unavailable in  the Amelia calendar? Thanks Joshua

    Hello Joshua,

The time slots of the Events created in your Google calendar will be blocked in Amelia if they have status Busy but they won't be created as appointments in Amelia.

If they are not blocked for booking in Amelia, could you please tell me have you enabled the option Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots  in Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations -> Google Calendar Settings? Also, if you have some bigger number of Busy events in Google please increase the number for the option Maximum Number Of Events Returned:  , which you will find in Google Calendar Settings as well. And please make sure they all have status Busy in your Google calendar.

Let me know if this helped!

Hi Marija, Thanks for your reply. Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots  in Amelia is enabled, The events are marked as busy in Google Calendar and I increased Maximum Number Of Events Returned and still when I make a test entry in Google Calendar it does not show up in Amelia. Regards, Joshua

    Hello Joshua,

    You are welcome.

I make a test entry in Google Calendar it does not show up in Amelia.

The Events from Google are not created in Amelia as appointments, if that is what you are trying to achieve. The time slots of the events in your Google calendar with status Busy will be blocked for booking in Amelia, but they won't be created as appointments.
