When you turn off email as a mandatory field, it applies to the front-end booking form.
When you're adding the customers from back-end, they need to have an email address associated to the account, since it is being saved in the database automatically.
Now I cannot edit customer account if email is an mandatory field. I create customer account from back-end, I only have phone number, I don not have customer email. Customer only store in Amelia data, no need to link to WordPress user.
You can add a dummy email address, like [email protected], but that's about it. No emails can be sent to it, and it's not a valid email address, so it will not cause any issues.
It takes a lot of time and it is not easy for me because the system requires a unique email for each customer so I cannot use one email for all customers.
Hi,
I turned off setting email as a mandatory field but when I edit Customer I can not save. The system requires an email. How to fix it?
Hello Hac

Hello Aleksandar,
How to turn it off from back-end?

Hi again Hac
Unfortunately, you can't.
You can add a dummy email address, like [email protected], but that's about it. No emails can be sent to it, and it's not a valid email address, so it will not cause any issues.

I understand, Hac, but unfortunately there's no workaround for this issue at the moment.
It has been forwarded as a feature request to our development team, but I don't know if it will be implemented.
