I encounter an important issue with CSV export: most of the user's fields are gathered in unique fields instead of being separated.
For instance, i'm unable to get a table with the user's first name, last name, email… each in a separate column.
I really need to get the data to work on them manually outside of Amelia, unfortunately, this is not sustainable as is. I really hope there's a way to modify the CSV format using custom code…
Indeed, the Clients export produces separate columns for basic fields, which helps for my need.
Unfortunately, many important fields are missing such as :
Appointment Location
Customer Custom fields
I was referring to the Appointments export actually, that gathers all customers (grouped appointments) and their basic data in a single cell, same with the Customers Custom fields, gathered in a unique cell.
This makes the data sheet unsortable when you want to sort by Customer's name for instance or by custom field.
Unfortunately, at the moment this can't be changed, but I will forward it to our development team for review.
Just to verify I understood you clearly:
You'd need the customers to be separated, along with the Custom Fields, so they don't group together, but are separated in rows; add Appointment location.
Yes, i would need the customers to appear each in his own table line (even if they're in a grouped appointment) AND each field in its own table column (First name, Last name… each custom field in a separate column, so they can be treatable, sortable… in Excel).

Hello Emmanuel
Which export are you referring to?
I just tested the Customers export, and it exports it just like you need it - in separate columns:

Thanks for considering this enhancement.

Hi again Emmanuel
You're welcome.
We have a lot of tasks, so I can't say if this too will be included in the next update, but we'll definitely take a look at it.
