When making a booking online the customer is given an option of ics etc link to add to their calendar. How can I include the same links in an appointment approval / rescheduling email so they can add it to their calendar from there. This is especially important if I have booked them in from the back end.
Could you please tell me how do you give this option to the customers? If you are using a custom field in Amelia, you can use the placeholders to add this custom field information to the email notification. The only custom field that supports HTML at the moment in Amelia is the Text content custom field.
There isn't a possibility to provide that option in the email notifications in Amelia .
If you enable the option Send Event Invitation Email in Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations -> Google calendar settings, then a Google event invitation will be sent to customers for the appointment, if that could help for your use case.

No I don't not wish to send them a separate email for this purpose. This would be a good feature to include!
