Hello, I'm the webmaster of the foundation web  who is very interested in buying the Amelia plugin, but communication manager wants to try the plugin before.  I have installed it and everything works, except that when registering an event, it doesn't send notification to the user or administrator.

Because it's the test version the only way is with PHP Mail, but the strange thing is that we have the Newsletter Mailpoet plugin and it works perfectly with PHP Mail.

The website is on the OVH server and I have tried it in another website that I have in the same server and the notifications works. I'm very lost because I have disabled all the plugins on the web and it still doesn't work.

Any idea what might be past o what can I do?

    Hi Mauricio,

    Thanks for your interest.

It might be that it is conflict with some other plugin, I can't tell, but in the full version we have WP Mail that works in any case. Additionally we have 15- days money back guarantee to try the full version.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Hi Nevena, thank you very much for your quick response.

To be clear, when you say WP Mail it's WP Mail SMTP, right? I ask because I have it installed but in the same  PHP option.

I'll talk to the communication manager about the money-back guarantee, to see if she let me try the full version.

One thing before, a piece of information that I didn't put before. That from the "Amelia/Notifications/Send test email" tab it does work and sends notifications without problem. But instead from the Event tab, when you clicking on "+ Add Attendee" and you adding a new User doesn't send anything, and from the front end form also doesn't send anything. The strangest thing is that I have installed Check Email plugin and it says that everything works correctly and that the server sends without problems.

I have installing a new wordpress in a subdirectory of the same server, without installing any plugin and the default template, and the exact same thing happens to it. Also I installed Check Email here and yes it sends without problems.

Do you think this will be fixed with the full version or maybe is it a problem with the server?
Thank you so much and stay safe too

    Hi Mauricio,

    Yes, that is it.

It must be due to the lite version, we will investigate this and fix it for sure if the problem is on our end. In the full version the notifications will work properly for sure.

    Hi Nevena,

Again thank you very much for you the quick response.

One last question, if we buy the annual full version for 59 euros and then we want to extend it to the full lifetime version of 189 euros, we would have to pay in full price for the lifetime versión (the 189 euros) or just only we pay the difference (130 euros)??

It's that since the foundation they aren't sure, they prefer the annual version and I recommend the lifetime.

Thank you so much and stay safe too

    Hi Mauricio,

Yes, if yo upgrade in first 6 months from subscription to lifetime you will pay just the difference, you will just need to let our support engeeners know in Amelia category with your purchase code that you will receive from us in the email after purchase.
