    Hello there!

I have been spending the whole morning looking at your Amelia plugin for this purpose: a client of mine needs to add to its ecommerce a way to make its clients book the entrance to his physical store and, in addition to it (due to the current Covid restrictions applied in Italy), he needs to set a maximum number of persons allowed to enter for any time range.

So, the client wants to let the customer choose a day, a time range but he also wants to let the customer select the service he is booking for (in our case 3 services: Purchase shoes, Purchase clothing / kit, Quote).

Here you have the full list of features we have been asked for:

    • possibility of choosing to make an appointment for two different locations
    • in one store, a maximum of 3 people every 20 minutes can simultaneously access the shop; for the other store 1 person every half hour
    • for every appointment the possibility for the user to choose between various services (purchase of shoes, purchase clothing/kit, quotes)
    • possibility for the user to cancel the reservation up to the day before
    • possibility to view and print the list of daily reservations
    • for each reservation, insert a box with notes if the user want to write something

Hoping to have been as much clear as possible, please let me know the Amelia plugin covers all the feautures listed above.
In case something is not covered, would it be possibile to make some personalized customization?

I look forward to your kind reply,

    Many thanks in advance!

    Stefano

    Hi Stefano,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

Our plugin supports setting up different services and maximum capacity for each, as well as choosing the time slots. Here are the answers to the full list of features:

    • "possibility of choosing to make an appointment for two different locations" - you can create locations in our plugin and show them in the dropdown so the customer can choose location during the booking process.
    • "in one store, a maximum of 3 people every 20 minutes can simultaneously access the shop; for the other store 1 person every half hour" -  Since the capacity defers on the location I would suggest you to create two employees (instead of creating two locations and use them as location, the label can be changed easily in our Labels Settings), one for one shop and the other for other shop and then connect them with the services and set capacity and for each employee (each employee on the employee profile has Assigned Services tab where you can set capacity for each employee). However, since you have different duration for the services you would need to create different services because duration is set on the service side.
    • "for every appointment the possibility for the user to choose between various services (purchase of shoes, purchase clothing/kit, quotes)" - Yes, this is possible, you can create as many services as you need, just at the moment we don't have option to book multiple services at once.
    • "possibility for the user to cancel the reservation up to the day before" - Yes, this is also possible. You can set "Minimum time required before canceling" and restrict canceling one day before and customers can also cancel from URL cancel link in the notification or if they access their Front-end customers panel and cancel from there.
    • "possibility to view and print the list of daily reservations" - Yes, on our Appointments page you can see the list of all appointments and filter them by date and also export the list in a CSV file and then print it.
    • "for each reservation, insert a box with notes if the user want to write something" - Yes, this is also possible, we have custom fields option to add custom fields to the booking form.

The only limitation that I see is that you will need to create double services in order to have different durations for two shops. There is also one more workaround for this, you can create pages outside of our plugin for two shops and put some information about them there, and then use two different shortcodes for each page and each shop. In that way if you create double services, you can put them under two categories and then show Booking form with predefined filter of one category on the page where first shop is and the other with other category on the page where second shop is. In this way customers will not see double services and everything will work as you need.

    Best regards.
