Hi, I am considering starting a website using wordpress but I need to it to connect to a SQL server. I was looking at WPDataTables as a solution but I was wondering if this can be done and if so, would I have to leave the SQL port (1433) open in the local server? Or would it handle the connection in a more secure way.
Hi Ronney del Cid,
Thank you for your interest in wpdatatables.
Well you will need to change code in plugin if your SQL server have SSL protection. You can read more about this here https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com//ticket/2387384/
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic
