We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hi,

So one thing that we do for our customers is book appointments for them. They come from all over the country and sometimes internationally, so we really need a way to change the time zone on our end. I couldn't seem to find this in your plug-in settings, but I see there is value in the database for the UTC time. Is there a way to make this display on the appointment page with every appointment, and also make it so we can change it if needed?

    Hello Katherine,

The timezone that you have in  your WordPress General Settings applies to Amelia as well. So, you need to choose your City timezone there and this timezone will be applied to Amelia.

There is an option Show booking slots in client time zone in Amelia -> Settings -> General, and if you enable it, customers will see the available time slots of your employees in their timezone. You can read more about General settings in Amelia here and about the WordPress settings that applies to Amelia here

    Hope this helps!

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.

Right, I already know about that option. We need to be able to pick their time zone from the front-end because we book appointments for them and it looks like you can't do it from the backend. Also, there's no way to view the appointment time in their time zone from the backend. What I'm gathering is this is not a functionality the plug-in has and it would have to be custom added.

    Hello Katherine

You are correct - something like this can't be done with the plugin's built-in features.

You would need to manually calculate the time difference, and add the time in back-end as your local time, so it matches their time.

    Kind Regards,
