I've been spending some time configuring the email notifications and decided to send a test email to myself. It appears that no matter what configuration I choose (PHP Mail, WP Mail, etc.) the email is not getting sent. I tried to install WP Mail SMTP plugin and got a test email from it so it doesn't seem like the issue is related to my hosting provider blocking 3rd party plugins. I am using a staging environment to set up the plugin, is it possible the issue has something to do with this?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Please let me know if there is something I can do to speed up the process because I am already behind schedule. If this issue can’t be resolved I may have to consider issuing a refund because a core functionality of this plugin doesn’t seem to work. My apologies if you are already working on a fix! Please let me know how long it might take to resolve this so I can notify my employer.
It seems my server was using an older version of PHP. After updating to a newer one, I am now able to send test email notifications. You can close this ticket as it is now resolved.
