4. Open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/en_US/wpamelia-en_US.po (you can open the Italian po file as well and translate the missing strings).
5. Translate all the strings to your language.
6. Save the file as it suggests you to (the language code; wpamelia-it_IT.po) and it will generate a new wpamelia-it_IT.mo file.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/ folder and since there is some folder for Italian there (it_IT), with some strings translated copy these two files - wpamelia-it_IT.po and wpamelia-it_IT.mo there and then replace the already existing folder it_IT with this one on your website at the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/.
Please note that this translation will be lost with each update of Amelia, so keep it on your local machine and replace the Italian folder after you update Amelia. Or you can send us your translation so we can include it in our next major update.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
Thank you very much, I have just finished the translation in Italian by purchasing the pro version of Poedit, I have checked it by hand and now it is perfect. I hope to be able to set the Italian language on the plugin, that is, I have to look for a way to tell Amelia that she must read the Italian file. I am unable to attach the two files of my Italian translation, if you give me an email address I can send them safely., maybe you can include it in your new version
I received the email, thank you, we will include it in the next update of Amelia.
For now, you need to delete the existing files and copy/paste the files that you created using Poedit (.po and .mo file that you have for the translation) in the a folder for Italian language at location wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/langauges . The language folder for Italian is it_IT and the po and mo files need to have this in their name as well. Then please deactivate and activate Amelia again on your Plugins page in WordPress and if you have chosen Italian as the language of your website in WordPress General Settings, your translation will be seen and shown by Amelia.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
Hi,
There is a plug in to translate Amelia in Italian?
Hello stefanocaon,
Thank you for your purchase.
Amelia can be translated using POEDIT or Loco Translate for example easily.
If you want to use POEDIT then this is the instruction:
1. Download Amelia from our TMS Store
2. Unzip the downloaded .zip file.
3. Download and install POEDIT.
