My service requires me to provide my service at my clients address. Will the client be able to add their address when booking and the employee doing the work at their address be able to obtain the address through the booking synced with google calendar?
We have custom fields for this. You can add a custom field to the booking form, make it required and data from the custom field will be visible inside the appointment details but can be also added in the notification or in the Google calendar event's description using our placeholders from the notification page. More about custom fields you can read here, and about option to set description for Google calendar event here (at the bottom of the page).
I'm having issues with my booking shortcode [ameliabooking] when entering it on my page. Once i've published and check the page and select the service the blue select button disappears.... I've attached screen shots to show the issue.
Not sure what u'm doing wrong. I'm following the tutorials seems so basic but not working on my end.
Issues like this usually occur when there is a conflict either with the theme currently active on your website, or another plugin you have installed.
Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred. Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.
At the moment i'm the only employee in my company. In the 'edit employee" section i'm trying to block out the calendar from monday to friday so customers can only book their service on saturday's and sunday's. Is this possible? I can't seem to find an option to block out certain days for a particular employee.
Next question i have..... my business requires me to provide a service at the customers house.
I've added an "address" in custom fields in the customize tab. Is it possible for me to add google maps when customers chose their address? If this is possible can this be linked to the employee to get directions via google maps to the customers house?
All the searching i do is for businesses to add google maps api keys to show the location of their business but i require it the other way round. Seeing each job i'll have will be at a different location.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
At the moment, Google Maps you see in the Locations section is only there for aesthetic purposes. We plan on expanding this feature, so it could be used like that, but at the moment it is not possible.
Many thanks for reply. I look forward to this feature being added in the nearby future.
I'm currently using wpforms plugin for my customers to register on my site. I'm a little stuck at the moment as once they register i need to send the customer to their booking front end in their account on Amelia calendar and not sure how to link the 2 together. Once clients are registered and return at a later date would i use wpforms login for customers to access their Amelia bookings and history if they are linked together?
If you need your customers to receive the customer panel link, you simply need to add it to the Appointment Approved email notification by adding the %customer_panel_url% placeholder.
If I didn't understand the question, please explain it in more detail.
I’ve added the place holder %customer_panel_url% into my appointment approved email.
The problem I have...... after customer registers on my Wpforms registration form I can redirect to a Amelia customer panel login page no problem. But when they try login using their registration username and password it doesn’t work as the registration wasn’t through Amelia But through Wpforms,, hence not picking up the details.
I’m under the impression my clients need to make a booking through Amelia calendar 1st, get the confirmation email of the booking with the customer panel link to sign in?
Is this correct?
Then returning customers I will link my login button to a Amelia customer panel login?
So saying this I don’t need a registration form through Wpforms as registration will be through Amelia making the booking and getting the customer panel link for future logins?
Many thanks.
Hope this all makes sense. Hope to get my head around it soon.

Not at all. Regardless if you allow Amelia to create a WordPress user role, or if another plugin does that - WordPress sends an automated email where people create a password for their WordPress User role. This password, and login are different from Amelia's Customer Panel log-in info.
When you redirect your customers to the customer panel - they don't get to create a password, but are asked to enter their credentials (which they don't have). Instead, you should redirect them to Amelia's Booking page, so they can book an appointment.
After they create an appointment, they will receive the notification email with %customer_panel_url%, and when they click on that URL it will take them to the customer panel, where they can either set up their password, or send themselves an access token (depending if you require the password to log in, or no).

Hello again Craig
You won't lose any data if you delete the plugin from your Plugins section.
When you click on your employee, simply go to Working Hours and remove the working hours on all days except for Saturday and Sunday.

Hi Aleksander.
Sorry I’m still a little stuck. This was a reply from customer support on Wpforms who I’m using as my registration form.
Hi Craig,
Not a problem! You could have your users redirected to a custom User Login form after they register (https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-install-and-use-user-registration-addon-with-wpforms/#create-custom-login) then after users click the login button have them redirected (https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-redirect-users-after-successful-login-in-wordpress/) to the WPAmelia calendar to book their appointment.
I’ve added the place holder %customer_panel_url% into my appointment approved email.

Hi again Craig
I'll quote you real quick:
