I've followed the instructions on setting up a cron job with WP Crontrol, but I get a 'Failed to save the cron event Amelia Cron Schedule'. So I can't get any of the scheduled notifications to work. Any ideas?
I see one of our users helped out for creating the cron job.
Could you please tell me have you changed the next recurrence for 'now' and have you tested it with one dummy appointment for tomorrow? Please note that there is the option to choose the time when these reminder notifications will be sent in Amelia -> Notifications.
I can confirm I was able to save the cron job by setting the recurrence to 'tomorrow', but the notifications still don't send at the scheduled times. I made a booking for today (with a follow up notification enabled) and one for tomorrow (with a next day reminder enabled), and I didn't receive any notifications except for the booking confirmations...
If you have saved the next run with 'tomorrow' and haven't changed that, the cron job should work starting the next day after you set it up, the time that you have chosen for the next run, so today. Please test the notifications that require cron job today/tomorrow and let me know if they work.
Hi Marija, I sent you an email last night to [email protected], did you receive it? I urgently need to resolve the issues with Amelia so I can launch the services by tomorrow 15th May. You are always very helpful, but it is very difficult for me to work with a product or service if I have to wait a whole day between each email. Most companies in 2020 have an instant chat support system for their paying customers, or at least respond withing the hour at most. Thanks for your understanding, Enzo
Yes, I did, sorry I didn't respond to it yet, but we have more tickets these days and we try to respond to all of them within 24 hours, although we have a 3-5 days time limit. Unfortunately, we don't have a chat support and our work hours are from 10 to 17 CET Monday - Friday mostly, so this is when you can expect a response to your tickets.
The issue that you had with the crons was not related to Amelia but your hosting. The reason why you have this issue now is probably because the migrate tool that you used for migrating your website from one domain to another probably didn't migrate the website well , unfortunately, and you have issues with the database, something is missing there or the foreign keys are not created well (because of the prefix change). We usually recommend the Duplicator plugin for this purpose.
I will forward the access that you provide me with to the development team so they can check it out and I will get back to you as soon as I get some answer from them.

Hello,
I had the same problem... It comes when you try to save a new cron for "NOW"
Then try to create the cron with next run for "TOMORROW" and save it... it should work
One you've saved it, you will be able to edit it and change settings. Or you can manually click on "run it now".
Good luck
Laurent
Thanks Laurent, I was able to save the cron job, but the automatic scheduled notifications are still not firing.
