For Report Builder for creating Word and excel documents - using gravity forms - the gravity forms eco-system uses merge tags with the Field id - in your case in report builder you use the name of the field which is a little difficult and also does not go very well with the gravity eco-system and therefore a lot of work needs to be re-done for creating a template. If you instead switch to the field ID then a considerable work will reduce
Also I dont think report builder supports conditional shortcode of gravity forms
These two features can make a lot work lesser when using your otherwise excellent software
