Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi,

I'm setting up Amelia for the first time, and am trying to add myself as the Employee. I'm the site administrator, and have my User profile set up in the WP backend. But, Amelia is not finding me, and I don't want to have to set up a second user for myself.

Can you please tell me how to get Amelia to find me as a WordPress User?

    Thanks.

    Hello Bruce,

    Thank you for your purchase.

The reason why you can't find yourself is because you have an admin user role, employees in Amelia can be connected to the Amelia Employee user role only.

But since you are an administrator, you don't need this connection at all, as you have the access and permissions for everything in your WordPress. This connection is useful only when the employees don't have any user role in WordPress, in order to give them specific access and permissions they should have in Amelia, so to manage and see their own (not other employees') appointments/services/work hours/etc. depending on what you allow for them in Amelia -> Settings -> Roles settings. You can read more about user roles in Amelia here and about roles settings here

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
