I'm setting up Amelia for the first time, and am trying to add myself as the Employee. I'm the site administrator, and have my User profile set up in the WP backend. But, Amelia is not finding me, and I don't want to have to set up a second user for myself.
Can you please tell me how to get Amelia to find me as a WordPress User?
The reason why you can't find yourself is because you have an admin user role, employees in Amelia can be connected to the Amelia Employee user role only.
But since you are an administrator, you don't need this connection at all, as you have the access and permissions for everything in your WordPress. This connection is useful only when the employees don't have any user role in WordPress, in order to give them specific access and permissions they should have in Amelia, so to manage and see their own (not other employees') appointments/services/work hours/etc. depending on what you allow for them in Amelia -> Settings -> Roles settings. You can read more about user roles in Amelia here and about roles settings here.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
