I am experiencing difficulty figuring the last step towards being able to use this well-needed plugin. Is it by shortcode or another way? Thanks !

    Hello Jamiel Ahmad,

    Thank you for your purchase.

You can go through our quickstart guide for setting up Amelia by following this link. All the useful information and instructions you will find in our documentation

Yes, you need to put shortcodes on your pages in order to see the booking form on the front-end.

Unfortunately, there isn't an option for creating a shortcode in Elementor, but you can create it using Gutenberg blocks or Classic editor and copy/paste it there, or just copy one of the shortcodes from the list of all shortcodes that are available in Amelia which you will find here. By creating the shortcode with Gutenberg you will be able to choose one of the employee/service when you enable the option Preselect booking parameters in the right panel (their IDs will be seen there). Please look at the attachment.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.

    HI Marija,

Thanks for getting back to me, I will review the instructions again as I couldn't find the short codes. There may actually be a way to for me to use an elementor short code block to upload the plugin. Another question for you:

Can you confirm if there is a way to make the booking calendar show up for new visitors to set up an appointment with me? And can you explain if the calendar shows which days are unavailable or blocked? My goal is to make my schedule look booked a majority of the days throughout the week to see if that increases the number of bookings for appointments. Thanks.

    Hello Jamiel Ahmad,

    You are welcome.

The available time slots are configured by setting up employees' work hours and assigning them services. So, the work hours that you choose in your Employee's modal will be the available time slots for booking on the front-end. So, the days/times that you don't have set work hours for, will be blocked for booking.

Can you explain why the attached image is my last step after booking?

    Hello Jamiel Ahmad,

You will find a list of all shortcodes in our FAQ section, so you can choose the one that suits your business needs best. There isn't a calendar with listed services/events in Amelia, if that is what you want to achieve. There is a calendar in the booking process where you can choose date/time in a calendar for some appointment.

You can check out all the views that Amelia have on our demo sites

Can you explain why the attached image is my last step after booking?

Could you please tell me what is the payment method that you have enabled in Amelia and for the service that you booked an appointment for?
