I have made a table that is non editable from the web site front however I want to add a field at the back of the table to allow user key in the remark . how do I do that . please refer to my table
I'm not sure I follow what you want to do. If you wish to enable editing only on back-end, I'm afraid something like that is not possible.
You have two options:
Enable editing for that one column, and then hide the Add New, Edit and Delete buttons from front-end using custom CSS. You can see the code you need on this link.
Allow editing only for the Administrator user role. This can be done in the Editing tab above the table.
