    I was wondering if there is a way to have the system send a calendar invite automatically putting in meeting location / conference information (ie zoom details) in the calendar.

    I know these can be sent out via email, but having it direct in the calendar would help tremendously.

    Is there a way?

    Thank you for your purchase. 

    Unfortunately, there isn't a possibility for creating an event in the Customers' calendars for the booked appointment. As you said, there is only the Invite option by email, so customers can get invitation to add their appointment to their Google calendar by email.

    How about any future passwords for Zoom meetings?  Is that perhaps available or in the works?

    Apologies for replying late, Friday was a non-working day in our country and we don't work on weekends.

    No, unfortunately, we don't have any option for Zoom passwords in Amelia, nor we have that planned for the future releases. You can explain that in more details so I can add it as a feature request to our list so it can be considered for implementation in the future.

    Please be aware of the latest news from Zoom:

    "To align with Zoom’s recent announcement pertaining to our 90 day security initiative, we will be requiring all previously scheduled, upcoming, and PMI meetings to require passwords to join meetings for Basic accounts on May 9th and Paid Accounts by May 30th."

    So I hope your developers are working on that issue already, otherwise it will be a hustle to send every participant of Amelia events and appointments their password individually. The great thing with Amelia and the Zoom integration is that it works fully automatically. I know it might be some work but it should be worth it.

    Maybe you could even pledge some donations from your customers who are using Zoom integration if it needs extra money for the extra working hours of your developers? Not sure what I am writing here as I am one of those, but I would definitely think about pledging as I am already depending on that feature.

    Hello Heinz, 

    Thank you for the Zoom news. We are aware of it from recently, and I forwarded this to our development team so they can check if and what can be done from our side to adapt to these changes in Zoom. 

    At the moment, I can't say anything, but we will definitely see how to adapt to the changes and make the Zoom integration in Amelia fully functional.
