We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Filtering chart using variable
Closed

Comments

    I need to display chart first then table below. My table has condition to use var1 to filter the dataset.

    What I have observed is chart is filtering using default value given in table creation screen not using the variable passed on the page. Table is displaying correctly with filtered values.

    When I flip and make to display table first then graph below, then both are displayed as per filtered records.

    I have a strong need to display chart first then table, is there anyway to have both filtered correctly?

    Hello Prer

    Our development team is aware of situations like this occurring, but we haven't been able to isolate it completely to be able to know what the issue is.

    Here's what you can try, though. Please go to the file: ../wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/source/class.wpdatachart.php and on line 2673 you'll see there's a method renderChart and for every wp_enqueue_script there's a parameter array() thich needs to be replaced with array('jquery')

    Example:

    without jquery:

    wp_enqueue_script('wpdatatables-render-chart', WDT_JS_PATH . 'wpdatatables/wdt.chartsRender' . $js_ext, array(), WDT_CURRENT_VERSION);

    With jquery:

    wp_enqueue_script('wpdatatables-render-chart', WDT_JS_PATH . 'wpdatatables/wdt.chartsRender' . $js_ext, array('jquery'), WDT_CURRENT_VERSION);
    So replace all "array()" with "array('jquery')" at the end of the file (in the renderChart method).

    Please let me know if that helped.

    Kind Regards,
