    Hi,

is it possible to add more fields when you add an employee.
Because we want to add a custom URL for an employee which can be read out for the emails. There is only notice field but thats not enough for our project.

The same for the services because we don't use zomm so we want to add a online webinar Link or google meet link which can be added to the service.

Maybe like custom fields which will be added to employee or service like for the form.

If this is not possible maybe it is possible to change the notice field in employee and services from a textarea field to a wysiwyg field so we can edit it with html.
Make breaks and can bring a structure to it.

Or is it possible to add fields with the ACF plugin?

Then we have another bug: When we reshedule an appointment the new appointment does not appear in the google calender which we are connectet to. Only approve with no changes and cancel work to insert our appointment into the google calendar.

    Kind regards, Daniel

    Hello Daniel,

There isn't a possibility to add custom fields to the employee info section. Like you mentioned, there is only the Note (internal) field where you can save more information about the employee. This field supports HTML if you need that.

Regarding services, there is an option to add Custom fields in Amelia, they won't show up in Amelia -> Services, but when you create them you choose to which services they will be assigned to, and when customers book one of these services they will need to answer/provide information those custom fields require. If you want just to add some additional information about the service, you can create the Text Content custom field, which doesn't need customers' input, and it supports HTML.

The Description field in the Services modal supports HTML, so you can use it as well for this purpose. One note - the description of the service is not available in the Booking shortcode/view, but it is in the Catalog view/shortcode.

Could you please tell me are you talking about the employees' or the customers' Google calendar? Who does the rescheduling, the customer? We need more details to try to reproduce the issue. Thank you!

    Hello Daniel,

    You are welcome!

Thank you for the video and the clarificationsmile.png no worries about the language.

I see now, the appointment is not changed in Google calendar when the employee is changed for that appointment. So, the appointment stays for the first employee/and time and it isn't created for the second employee/time. Sorry for any inconvenience this have caused. I forwarded this to the development team, and hopefully they will be able to fix it for the next update of Amelia.

Regarding the placeholders, yes I see that would be useful for creating different notifications per service. They are not meant to be used in that field, so I assume this is why some work and some don't. I will forward this as well to the development team so they can check it out and hopefully make all placeholders to work in that field.

At the end, about the employee, there isn't, unfortunately, any other field that can be added at the moment for the employee, but only the Note field. So, you can the link there and send it in the notifications as well, if that is what you want to achieve.

If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask.

    Hi,
thank you for the answer. That would be cool if the developers can make a fix for the calender and for the shortcodes. Hopefully they can add this fixes in the next update of amelia.
If all shortcodes appear in the notice field that would be awesome, so we don't need an extra field at the employee or service. We are looking forward to the next update because our customer need this really quickly. Maybe you could send us a little notification when the next update is coming.
Thanks for the quick response ;)
    Kind regards, Daniel

    Hi Marija,

I was looking for a solution to add a custom fields to an Amelia employee, however, as per your answer below, I saw that there is not feature available yet. I followed your suggestion and added the data that I wanted to this "Note (Internal)" field.

However, when going to the My Profile page as an employee, I saw that I could not edit this note field. I want my employees to be able to edit this note field whenever they want to. Is any solution available for this?

    Thanks,

    Yash

    Hi Yash,

Yes, the Note field isn't available in the employee panel, unfortunately. The only way for employees to access and edit it is if they login to the WP back-end - so in this case, they should have a WP user with the Amelia Employee role and their employee in Amelia should be connected to this WP user. They would have access to their profile, appointments, etc. in the back-end similar to what they see in the panel. https://wpamelia.com/users-and-roles/
