We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
On our website https://niformulary.hscni.net
We have a WPDatatable on this page: https://niformulary.hscni.net/managed-entry/managed-entry-decisions/
It displays a table using Shortcode: [wpdatatable id=257]
When I use the Wordpress built in Search to look for drug name eg Halaven it returns no results
However the drug appears in several table rows in the WPDT search ??
We are considering purchasing more licenses for the Plugin but we need table content to appear in the Wordpress Search. Are there Search plugins that integrate with WPDT ?
Hello bsowebteam
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
We don't have a global search, and you can't find data from within the tables through your website's search. However, the table's search works fine.
I'm not aware of any Search plugins that would work like that, so unfortunately I can't help.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Aleksandar
it is disappointing that tables published using your plugin cannot be included in a website search. Strange for such a highly regarded plugin not to have considered this important. You must see how that could be inconvenient and counter intuitive to users of a website and a reason why customers won't want to buy your product. In fact i think it should be made clear to potential customers that this is the case. I have been in contact with support from plugin SearchWP that their product will include content from tables published via shortcode and i will follow this up. We will also be looking for an alternative tables plugin. Perhaps WP DataTables might put this on its development roadmap for future versions?
Hi again bsowebteam
Our development team does have that in mind, but I cannot tell you when exactly it will be included in the plugin.
I will forward it as a feature suggestion again, of course, so another vote is added to the feature, but can I ask you to do the same on this page?
It goes straight to our development team, so they have an idea how many times a feature has been requested.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
