At the moment it is possible to show pictures for events like this.
However, it is not possible to show like categories with pictures. We certainly plan to work on some new event booking form so we would be more than grateful if you could explain us in details the view that would suit you best.
As for the translation yes, we have German translation. Approximately 95% of the plugin is translated but if you find some words that are not translated or you want to translate them differently you can easily do this with Poedit or Locotranslate since all strings are ready for translation.
