I am working on fine tuning all of the Amelia features to work just right for our business, but I am running into a slight problem, as well as have a general question for you.
1. For our business it is important for an employee's rate to be clearly visible to the customer before booking. We are putting the power in the hands of the customer to choose who they want based on price and reviews. Ideally, I would like the employee's price to show in the catalog view, next to the employee's for all menus where the employee's name is shown. Is this possible with the Amelia plugin, or where exactly in the code could I find this? I have a BS in IT, and am a Linux systems admin who writes bash scripts for a good chunk of the day. While I am not a developer, I know enough to be dangerous. If this is not a supported feature, and you cannot make this a supported feature soon, could you help walk me through where to change the code to add this functionality?
2. I have a general question connected to my first business need. I would like the ability to have customers leave reviews about the employee they worked with, but again, I don't see this as a feature. If I were to just send out a survey email, it would be vague and ask the customer which employee they worked with, and what their review of that employee is. This is not a great approach, because a customer can easily leave a review of one employee that was meant for another. I would like the email to be specific to the employee they were working with to prevent this, and other, potential issues. I want to then be able to display the employee's rating next to their name as well, so that a customer can choose who they want to work with. I would then like this rating to be available as a block so that each employee will have their own page where customer's can click on a link in the catalog booking block, and other places on the site too, and read an employee bio, reviews, etc. Is this a feature that is in the pipeline, or do you have a recommended approach to handle this requirement?
If these are not standard features, and are not in the pipeline, do you offer any development service to add our requested features?
Unfortunately, these options are not available in Amelia with its current built-in features. As these features are not requested much by our users, for me they are new ones so far, we don't have them in our plan for the future updates. But I will add them as feature request to our list so they can be considered in the future implementation. Of course, the most requested features get in the top of our list, so if these features get requested more often by our users, they will get considered for implementation sooner. You can also check if there is a same request here and vote for it.
If you can manage to do that outside of Amelia, have a list of employees, reviews, prices etc. then you can add a separate booking form for each employee - with the shortcode with specific employee (their ID).
You can't change this in the code neither, unfortunately, because Vue.js is used.
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask.
