What you're looking for to achieve can only be done through SQL Query based tables.

 believe it's something like this:

date >= CURDATE()

To apply it for an interval, you could try with this:

SELECT * FROM yourTable
WHERE date >= DATE_SUB(CURDATE(), INTERVAL 1 YEAR)

I'm not sure, though, without taking a look, but that's how you'd be able to show the dates only from within the 1 year interval.

I believe the limitation about the calendar placeholders are coming from the Calendar library we're using.

I'll forward the request to our development team, but please feel free to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. That goes directly to our development team.

We have cascade filtering, which can be applied only with the help of our paid add-on Powerful Filtering. However, cascade editing is not yet an option. It is planned at some point in the future, but I cannot say when.
