If your MySQL-query based wpDataTable doesn’t work correctly with server-side processing, probably this is happening because wpDataTables server has problems with parsing of the query and building new queries dynamically (rarely happens, but does sometimes). To avoid this please prepare a MySQL view (a stored query), which will return the data that you need, call it e.g. “view1” and then build a wpDataTable based on a simple query like “SELECT * FROM view1″.
Please note some this when working with the server-side processing feature:
Please do not use “LIMIT” in the SELECT statement. wpDataTables adds it automatically and it will be overridden.
Please do not use “ORDER BY” in the SELECT statement. wpDataTables has its own sorting engine so it makes no sense to use MySQL’s sorting, since it will be overridden. Also, server-side processing feature adds this part of statement automatically when users trigger the sorting on the front-end, and having it in initial statement may cause the table to crash.
tried still didn’t work I didn’t have view create privileges on default hosting server, so I setup a remote DB connection and was able to build sql query based on view. I see data is displayed but when searched it is showing no records found.
No conditions added in view, just standard view from a table.
Sorry for the late response, we didn't work on Friday and Monday due to Orthodox Easter, which is celebrated in our country.
I'm glad to hear the issue has been resolved.
I haven't seen the query, otherwise I would've suggested that right away, sorry. Also, you don't need the ( ; ) at the end of the query - just a "heads-up".
search and filters are not working with 'server side processing' enabled.

I was using the quotes for the table names (`table1`), after I removed the quotes, search was working fine on tables, no need to create views.
