How is that actually done with the cron notifications. I see the code but haven’t found out where and how to implement that.
I read even the tutorial but that was not very helpful.
I installed WP Control but did not find out where to put that provided code.
Can you link me to a more detailed explanation for how to activate those notifications? Would there be a possibility in Amelia to integrate cron-jobs directly so we can even set the timing with some clicks?
I don't believe the plugin works like that, but that would be a cool feature - set the cron via WP Crontrol, then deactivate the plugin. If you try that, please let me know if it works!
I found out that the Zoom links are not included in the reminder email for hosts and participants.
I am not sure if I have seen it there before but in the last few reminders in the past week the links were not included for the placeholders %zoom_join_url% and %zoom_host_url%
Also the placeholder %booked_customer% only has the output "client, full name:" but there is not data from the client.
Can this be a failure from cron or is Amelia responsible for that?
I was convinced this was fixed, but nonetheless I will forward it to our development team for review. If it hasn't been included in the previous version (2.9.1), I hope they'll be able to squeeze it in the next one.

Hello Heinz
Please take a look at our FAQ. There you can find some detailed instructions on how you can use WP Crontrol.
The recurrence for Amelia's cron should be "once a day", since the time of sending scheduled notifications is defined in the notifications themselves.

I saw that before and did not get it right. Now I found out that I need to integrate the line only once and not for every single email.
Thanks!
You're welcome Heinz

Is it possible to deactivate WP Control again after having set that cron job, so I don’t have too many plugins active?
Happy Easter BTW!
Thank you Heinz!
I'm not sure, actually - I never tested that.

It works in all the other mails at least.
Hi Aleksandar
Is there any further development for the missing Zoom links in the reminder email?
Also the data for %booked_customer% shortcode does not work in the reminder to the host.
Best, Heinz
Hello Aleksandar
I am still missing the data for %booked_customer% shortcode in the reminder to the host. The value just does not show up in the email.
Any updates on that bug?
Best, Heinz
