Hello! We are working on an "Update Your Info" form. The ideal process would be that one of our Members comes to the form and inputs their member number. This action matches the member number in a spreadsheet or CSV and populates "user info" fields based on the data associated with the member number. (i.e. Name, address, etc...). The user makes any necessary changes and submits the form. This sends a notification to a membership supervisor who then makes the changes in our database.
I was wondering if wpDataTables with the Gravity Forms add-on would meet our needs for the filtering by member number and per-poulating from a spreadsheet or CSV.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
If you would be able to do that with Gravity Forms, then you would be able to pull the data from it using wpDataTables plugin, and Gravity Forms integration for wpDataTables, but not natively.
You can use our Foreign key feature to connect data from separate tables, but there is no conditional logic between columns, so if you select a user ID, there's no way to populate all other columns based on that ID.
