We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi Thank you so much for integrating Zoom into the latest release of the Amelia Plugin.
One thing. Is there a separate email notification for Zoom specific appointments. Just wondering what happens if the appointment isn't a Zoom specific appointment. Or a feature suggestion could be to have a if else statement in the email notifications such that if the zoom url is empty you exclude specific text in the notification?
Regards
Phillip
Hello Phillip,
You are welcome. Glad to see you like the new features
You can put the links for Zoom in all notifications - if the service has Zoom in it, this will give the customers/employees link to the meeting, and if the service doesn't have Zoom it will show nothing (there will be no link and no string for this in the notifications).
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask.
Hi Marija
I can understand your reply if you only insert a link and no follow up user instructions. But would you not insert a note to the customer to explain what the link is and when to use it?
The text is still displayed in the email, just the link will be missing?
Regards
Phillip
Hello Phillip,
Yes, if you add some other information about the Zoom link, that will be seen in all notifications. But the link will look like this in the email -
Join Zoom Meeting for customers, and Start Zoom Meeting for employees, so we assume it is pretty clear what is it for. You can maybe add a custom field for the services that have Zoom to point out to the customers that they will get a link for Zoom in the email notification.
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask.
Hi Marija,
You said "You can put the links for Zoom in all notifications"
How do I do this? What are the steps?
Hello Marc,
Yes, you can put a placeholder for the link to Zoom to the notifications in Amelia.
Like the other placeholders in Amelia -> Notifications, when you click on </> Show Email Placeholders there, you need to find the zoom link and click on it (copy it) and then paste it to the Message field of the notification you want.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask, you can ask in the ticket that you have opened for Zoom.
Thank you Marija
You are welcome, Marc.
