    Hello,
I am evaluating the purchase but I have not been able to understand if there is a way to be able to write a message to all those registered for an event. I saw that I can see the name and email of those who signed up but I would like to understand if there is a system that allows me to automatically communicate with the whole group that has signed up.

I didn't even understand what difference there is between appointment and event.

    Thanks so much

    Alessandro

    Hi Alessandro Guerci,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

We have email notifications that can be set for events. Each attendee can receive an email once they book the event, and once the event is canceled or rescheduled (those are three different templates that you can set). We certainly plan to work on more features for events and we would be more than grateful if you could explain to us your specific use case and what you need.

At the moment the basic difference between event and appointment is that event can last multiple days and can have recurrence and for event admin sets the specific date and time. When it is about appointments, customer can choose date and time from the calendar but the appointment cannot last more than couple of hours or 23 hours and 55 minutes in one day.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.
I need to be able to communicate quickly with only those registered for each individual event.

    Hi Alessandro Guerci,

    You are welcome.

Unfortunately beside our email and sms notifications I can only add that we are preparing an update probably for the next week where Zoom integration will be included, maybe this is something that would suit you?

    Best regards.

Hello Isidora, thank you for your answers.

I have couple of questions more. Zoom will help me a lot, when do you think will be online? Is there any chance to include the link for zoom directly from the event/appointment that customers will book? I mean , I book an event, when I receive the mail confirmation, in that email is it possible to have already the link for get to zoom broadcast?
Actually I would like to have the possibility to send the link of what customers booked already with some kind of notification.
Do you think can be possible?
    Thank you, regards,
    Alessandro

    Hi Alessandro Guerci,

    You are welcome.

We will give our best to release update with Zoom this week, if not it will be at the beginning of the next week, we are in the testing phase at the moment, so it depends on how long the testing and bugfixes will last.

You will be able to add a link to your email templates in which you want to send them, once the appointment is booked the email with a link will be automatically sent, and admin, employee and customer will also have the option to see that link in appointment's info and event's info.

    Best regards.

  • Alessandro Guerci replied

thank you Isidora, so you mean we can send back to each customer, after their reservation, a mail notifying the link to join to zoom broadcasting. can we add at each notice a specific link? Every apointment/event we need to have a dedicated link, can we add these different  links to the email templates?

    Alessandro

    Hi Alessandro Guerci,

You are welcome. Yes, you can add a placeholder in the message that will be replaced with a link once the appointment is created and automatically sent. Each appointment will have its own link that will be different for customer (participant) and for employee (host).

    Best regards.

Hello Isidora, thank you for the good news. The zoom implementation will be included in the 59USD pack? If we buy the plug in now, before Zoom implementation, will be then automatically updated or it's better wait up to when the development it's finished?

    Thanks

    Alessandro

    Hi Allessandro Guerci,

You are welcome. You can purchase now and enter the license code in Activation Settings on the Settings page of the plugin so you can get auto-update, or I can contact you once we release Zoom integration and you can purchase then?

    Best regards.

    Hi Alessandro,

You are welcome. I will still contact you once we release an update with Zoom.

    Best regards.

  • Alessandro Guerci replied

Sorry if I bother you again but I still need your help.
I have to organize the calendar of a gym with different types of courses where people can register for each individual event (class).
I think I have to create events and not appointments. Can you confirm it?
If I use the events, however, pedo of the interesting visualizations in the front only for appointments and from what I understand, I cannot associate services with the instructors.
    Thanks for your patience.
    Alessandro

  • Alessandro Guerci replied

    One more thing.

If the events are what I need, do I have a way to put a calendar view on the front and not a list?
    Thanks again

    Hi Alessandro Guerci,

Unfortunately not at the moment but we are thinking about implementing this for one of the next updates since it was requested by our users. Can you please explain to me what sort of the calendar you would need?

    Thanks.

    Hi Alessandro,

I am writing to let you know that we have release new version of Amelia booking plugin today with native Zoom integration.

With this integration you can connect Amelia with Zoom, add place holders for Zoom meeting links to notifications and automate your online appointments and events.

More information can be seen on our documentation page: https://wpamelia.com/configuring-zoom/

    Have a nice day!

  • Alessandro Guerci replied

    Ciao!

    Thanks. It works perfectly!
I would like to ask you for help to understand something.
I don't understand how customers register for an account.
After signing up for an appointment to enter their personal area, they must enter a password but they have not set it before. Where can they do it?
If I then click on the forgotten password button, I do not receive an email.
    can you help me?

I also tried working on the settings and I didn't get great results.

    Thanks

    Alessandro

  • Alessandro Guerci replied

I do not receive the email that in this screen tells me with the details for the account login.

    Why do you think?

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Alessandro,

Have you added %customer_panel_url% (<a href="%customer_panel_url%">Customer Panel Access Link</a>) placeholder in your notification? If yes, once the customer books for the appointment he will receive an email with the link that will redirect him to his panel. If you enabled "Require password for login" option customer will be asked to enter a new password, since he didn't have the password yet, and to confirm it. If you disable "Require password for login" option, the customer will be redirected with a unique token right to his panel without logging or requiring password.

Make sure once you add %customer_panel_url% (or add it as a link like here <a href="%customer_panel_url%">Customer Panel Access Link</a>) into the notification to click save below that template (you can add it in Appointment Approved notification, Appointment Pending notification, and Event Booked notification depending whether you will use appointments or events, and what status you set by default in General Settings). To add this placeholder easily simply open Show Email Placeholders on the Notifications page (picture is below). Find this placeholder and click on it, it will be copied right away and then paste it to the template.

You can find more explanation about our notifications and how to set them here. Make sure that you have set notification options on the Settings page before you try to send notifications. Also after the purchase you have got access to our premium support so if you have any question you can contact them in Amelia section of this support platform, just open a new ticket.

    Best regards.

    Thanks for your help

There is still one thing I can't understand.
When a customer signs up for an appointment for the first time, he receives 2 emails. One from wordpress and one from amelia.
In the amelia "Appointment Approved" email I inserted the tag% customer_panel_url% which asks to enter a new password and to enter it again. If this is done, doesn't this password also work as a password to access the private area? In order to allow customers to log in and be able to automatically insert their data in subsequent reservations ?.

I also tried to download a plugin to not send the automatic wordpress email (I am attaching a screenshot)

Only then without this I can only view my reservations but not to enter https://live2.fit/wp-login.php

Can you help me better understand how to handle it?

  • Alessandro Guerci replied

I would also like to make a page to access their reservations. I used: [ameliacustomerpanel appointments = 1 events = 1]

    it's right?
Why do I sometimes see nothing on the page?

Thanks and sorry again if I ask you many things.

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Alessandro Guerci,

This is the right shortcode [ameliacustomerpanel appointments=1 events=1], pay attention on spaces, maybe it will not work if you add spaces before =. Also, on the panel you will see datepicker so if datepicker is set to some range of dates when customer doesn't have appointments or events, the list will be empty.

    Best regards.

  • Alessandro Guerci replied

    Ciao!

Could you help me configure the cronjob with the string to send reminder.
    * / 15 * * * * https://live2.fit/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wpamelia_api&call=/notifications/scheduled/send

We can do it on wordpress or on my cpanel server.

    thank you very much

    Alessandro

    Another question.

How do I make the word free appear on appointments?
    Thanks again

    Alessandro

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Alessandro,

Can you please open a ticket in Amelia section of this support platform? After the purchase you have got access to our premium support which can help you with setting up the cron job. As for the 'Free' in appointments, we don't have this option at the moment. If you set 0 as service price the entire price calculation and payment methods will be hidden. You can ask our support in Amelia section whether they can do something with some script to help you with this but I am not sure that this is possible.

    Best regards.
