I plan to upgrade to Pro version but there is one important feature that I needed.
How can I make the 1st column of the table as row count (like 1,2,3... and so on). Right now, I can see wdt_ID but the problem is if you delete 1 row, the number of the new row is not the right count.
Example: I have 5 rows, I deleted the 5th row, I created a new row and the wdt_ID generated is 6 where it should be 5 because it's the current 5th row now.
Appreciate your prompt help as I am deciding if I settle and upgrade with this plugin or look for an alternative plugin.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
Our development team has this planned for the future, but I cannot tell you when exactly it will be added. Please feel free to take the wpDataTables survey in my signature, and request that feature.
I'm sure that can be implemented, but only as a custom solution, since it's not yet included in the plugin's features.
Unfortunately, I can't help you with it, since writing custom solutions is not included in the provided support for the plugin. Unfortunately, our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.
But we can recommend these services for customization:

Hello Ben
Thank you for your purchase.

Hi Aleksandar,
They were able to solve it here: https://datatables.net/examples/api/counter_columns.html
Does WpDataTables have similar code?
Thanks.
Hi again Ben
I'm sure that can be implemented, but only as a custom solution, since it's not yet included in the plugin's features.
Unfortunately, I can't help you with it, since writing custom solutions is not included in the provided support for the plugin. Unfortunately, our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.
But we can recommend these services for customization:

https://wpkraken.io/?tms-plugins
They do develop such solutions, so can you please send your inquiry to them?
Please make sure to request this in the Survey, as mentioned in my previous response
