If you entered your gmail username and password, and you're still seeing this error, please reach out to your hosting provider.
Hosting providers tend to block any SMTP settings that are not theirs. Amelia has no other email settings, so if the credentials are OK here, there is something blocking the emails from being sent.

I've setup our email notifications settings to use gmail as the SMTP. I've copied the settings provided in your help docs.

Username
Password
Sender Name
[email protected]
It keeps displaying an error. See the screen shots.
