Hi, i added a custom filed to the booking when i go to the emails there is no shortcode for the custom attachement field. How can i send the attachement to the employee via notification email or if the file is to big a link where they can get the attachement. Kind regards, Daniel
Unfortunately, the attachments, saved using Attachment custom field, can't be sent through notifications in Amelia with its current built-in features. I will add this as a feature request to our list, so it can be considered for implementation in the future.
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,
Hi Marija, So how can i access to the attachment files. is it possible to change the path - which i can add as a Link in the Employee mail. That they can dircectly look up the folder and download the files? Kind regards, Daniel
You can set the path for a place (folder) where you want the attachments to be saved. You will find this option Attachment upload path: in Amelia -> Settings -> General Settings at the end. They are saved in WordPress Uploads folder by default.
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,
We implemented an option for the attachments to be sent to employees via email notifications in the released version 3.1 of Amelia https://wpamelia.com/changelog/ . So, version 3.1 and newer versions have this option now, when you create the attachment custom field on the Amelia -> Customize page, you will see that placeholder in the placeholders list on the Amelia -> Notifications page, so you can add it to the email notifications sent to the employees.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
