What I would like to day is sell "day passes" and a "one time yearly membership non-recurring" within Amelia. I already have forms created for my "events" but when I try to add the day passes and memberships as a "Service" within Amelia I am forced to choosing a booking time slot. It seems as though the easiest option would be to disable the time slot option within Amelia for this type of "Service".
Related to that, I would like to be able to set certain booking days for particular memberships aka "Service". For example, I would like to be able to allow certain "Services" e.g. Day Passes to be used only on certain days.
For other "Service" such as "Membership", well for my purpose, these are one time purchases for the whole season/year.
So to summarize:
1) Can we sell memberships as services where we don't have to have a "time slot"?
2) Can we set booking days for certain services? e.g. day passes can only be used on July 17th, 21st, Aug 17th, 21st as these are "open to the public" whereas the other days are only for "yearly members"
I cannot say if memberships will be included in Amelia. We have discussed this, but no concrete decision has been made in that direction. Even if we assume the feature will be added, it won't be added any time soon.
This is the way Amelia works. It doesn't support multiple day booking, nor does it have any subscription booking. There is no way to remove time slots from any services. The plugin's logic simply doesn't work that way.
Services' availability depends on Employee's working hours, so if you need to configure a service that is only available on certain days of the week (or even specific dates), you should create an employee that provides this service only on those days (or Special days, if you're going for specific dates).
Would "Membership" service provide unlimited access to your services, or is it limited by the number of uses?
1) Unfortunately, no.
2) Sure, the employee who provides the service needs to work only on those days (set in Employee's "Special Days" tab)
Maybe this workaround would work for you, with a few adjustments for the "Membership" service
You can create a service which would be named "Membership" for example, and it would cost a certain amount. Then, you would need to create a 100% discount coupon which could be used 9 times, and limit the usage to 9 per customer, like this:
My advice would also be to enable the notifications, so they get an e-mail with the discount coupon, explaining that they need to use the coupon for the remaining 9 sessions:
You would need to add the %coupon_1% placeholder to the e-mail, so they get the coupon code they can use.
After someone books the first appointment, they receive an e-mail with it, and they use it to book the remaining 9 sessions.
This is the case if you are offering only 10 appointments in that "Membership" service. You can, of course, increase it to a bigger number.
Hi.
Does Amelia plan on supporting "memberships"?
