We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I am in the processing of creating tables and could not figure out how to join 2 rows together to be one lare row.
Hello Bruno
Thank you for your purchase.
If I understood you correctly, you need to merge cells?
If that is true, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
However, if it's something else you were after, please let me know, and I'll gladly help.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Ok thanks it seems like it should be easy to join 2 cells. I have another question for you?
Is it possible to place the print copy pdf buttons at the bottom of the table instead of at the top?
Thanks
Hello Bruno
Unfortunately, it is not that easy to achieve merged cells because wpDataTables is based on datatables.net JS plugin and JavaScript.
As for the second question, yeah - that can be done:
Please go to line 3190 of the file ../wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/source/class.wpdatatable.php and you'll see this:
$obj->dataTableParams->sDom = "BT<'clear'>{$globalSearch}{$showRowsPerPage}{$scrollable}{$infoBlock}p";
"BT" are export buttons, so you need to move them to the end of this list.
For example, if you move them to be before pagination ("p" in the row):
It will look like this:
If you need it in a new row, you need to change the line to:
And it'll look like this:
I hope that helps.
