    Hello,

I have an issue after verifying. I had set one service in trial version before reset the Amelia plugin from your email link. And all the employees are created with this deleted feature from free version in possible services. Now I can't create services category, everything is cleaned out somehow every time, I can't also add a service because plugin can't see employees maybe because of previous mistake with deleted service. What should I do ? Maybe there is a way to clean inner cash inside site datas? I have reset several different versions of plugin , every time is the same mistake. During free trial there were no mistakes, I was able to add services.

    Hello Mariia Panaran,

    Thank you for your purchase.

Unfortunately, the update to full version from Lite can't be done with only entering the purchase code in the provided field. The Lite version needs to be deactivated/deleted, and the full version installed to be able to activate the license and use all features of the plugin.

My suggestion is to update the plugin manually by following these steps and let me know if you still have the same issue afterwards:

    1) Download the zip from our store or from the email that you received when you made the purchase

    2) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins

    3) Delete existing ameliabooking folder

    4) Upload previously downloaded ameliabooking folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)

    5) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section

    6) Deactivate Amelia Plugin, and then activate it again

    7) Clear server and browser cache

    ___________________________________________________________

If you are using hosting where you are not allowed to your FTP  then follow those instructions:

    1) Download the zip from our store or from the email that you received when you made the purchase

    2) Delete Amelia plugin from WordPress Plugins page

    3) Click on Add new on Plugins page

    4) Click on Upload plugin on Plugins page

    5) Choose previously downloaded ameliabooking zip file

    6) When uploading is done, please Activate Amelia plugin

    7) Clear server and browser cache.

Please note that if you delete plugin from Plugins page you WILL NOT lose your data, because it is already saved in your database.

Please note that our plugin have a size of around 6 MB so if yo are not able to upload the plugin through WordPress plugins page, then you need to increase following:

    upload_max_file size,

    post_max_size ,

    max_execution_time

You should be able to find these values in your php.ini file or on your hosting panel. If you can't find it yourself please ask your hosting provider to provide it.

If you have any further questions or concerns don't hesitate to ask,

I have a couple of questions, is it normal that after the sync with employee's gcal, booking plugin doesn't show the appointments in the inner admin calender it seems unnormal, but there is no opportunity to book busy time  in the booking system that's fine.

The second question is if the employee can cancel the appointment? I can't find the settings after upgrade.

    Hello Mariia,

Glad to hear the issue is gone. You are welcome.

The Google sync works this way - appointments from Amelia are created in Google calendar as events and you can show different information for the appointment using placeholders from Amelia -> Notifications that you can put in the fields Event Title and Event Description in Amelia -> Settings -> Google Calendar. Events from Google calendar are not created as appointments in Amelia, only the time slots of these events is blocked for booking in Amelia if they are with status Busy in Google and if the option Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots is enabled.

Amelia Employees can manage (and cancel) the appointments when they login to WordPress if you enable this option in Amelia -> Settings -> Roles Settings . You can read more about users and their roles following this link and about roles settings in Amelia here

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help,

    Hello,

In such a case I have more one issue. I have created Amalia employee for myself and connected with account on the site (social network), and synced with Gmail. It's my account as a specialist, but I don't have WP console for that non-admin account and when I register I go to site's social network. Do employees need to use WP console for managing appointments? Or how it's possible to manage them from the back end for an employee I still can't find the way while using my non-admin account as an employee.

    Hello Mariia Panaran ,

The employees need to have Amelia Employee user role in WordPress (so you need to create users for them in your WordPress with this user role) and then you need to connect them to Employees in Amelia (please look at the attachment. And then employees will be able to login to the back-end of WordPress and manage their appointments there.

You can read more about users and their roles following this link and about roles settings in Amelia here

I've done all of it but nothing. There is no way to login in Amelia back-end how it can do the admin through WP console. I can just see simple user view after all this actions. I  have set all the settings with the employees' abilities. What should I do in such a case?
