I have set up an employee (WP-Role: Amelia Employee)
The employee does not see the delete icon in bookings (only the duplicate icon).
I need the employee to delete bookings by herself.
Are there settings for that?
Hello Sigurd
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, there are no settings that will allow the Amelia Employee user role to delete anything. Even Amelia Manager can't delete anything, only the Administrator can do that.
If you need to assign this capability to the employee, I can suggest installing User Role Editor plugin, and with it you can modify the capabilities of all User Roles.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

I would like to see that in a future update.
The website admin usually has nothig to do with the daily work.
Hello again Sigurd
I will forward the suggestion to our development team, but honestly I don't believe Employees will ever be able to delete appointments.
The capabilities of all Amelia user roles are listed in our documentation, so if you need to extend them for any of the user roles, you would need to use the User Role Editor plugin, like recommended in my previous response.

Why wouldn't this not going to be added? I mean, our employees have access to employee panel, right? But they cant delete the appointment? Some businesses like ours needs the staff members to deal with their own booking.
Every needed feature is missing. I am really frustrated with the lack of features.
And this is also bs:
"Please note: At the moment employee doesn’t have permission to add new customers on the back-end. He can only create appointments with the existing customers (the ones that have profiles created in Amelia)."
Hi there,
I understand your frustration, but please keep in mind that our software is designed with certain limitations and configurations for a reason. Most companies using Amelia prefer not to allow employees to delete appointments, as they can cancel or reject them instead. It's ultimately up to the admin to decide if an appointment should be deleted.
You may feel the plugin lacks certain features, but it was purchased as advertised. We offer a 15-day money-back guarantee for this reason, and pre-purchase support to help clarify any doubts before buying.
The front-end employee panel has fixed permissions. However, if you allow employees to log into the WordPress back-end, you can use the User Role Editor plugin to adjust the "Amelia Employee" role. This way, employees can delete appointments and create new customers, though this only applies to the back-end.
Thank you for your understanding.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
