    I have set up 3 categories with several booking options inside of each category.

    A customer made a new appointment and choose the wrong category.

    I need to change the category for this one booking, but this seems not to work.

    Are there some settings I need to adjust?

    Hello Sigurd Roscher, 

    Could you please tell me do you want to change the category or the service in the appointment? If you want to change the category you need to change the service first (if the service chosen is in some other category it will only show that category as an available option). So you need to have the service from the category that you want. Also, please check if the employee assigned to the appointment is assigned for the category/service you want to change to.

    1. employee is assigned to all services

    2. can't see an option to assign the employee to a category

    3. If I want to change the Category in an appointment, all other categories are grey and not selectable. (see scrennshot)

    4. Booking options in an appointment are all shown but the ones from other categories also grey (see scrennshot)

    Hello Sigurd Roscher, 

    The employees are assigned only to services, not categories. 

    But you can't edit the appointment this way because if you are trying to choose one of them (category or service) the other one is there, and this is why you can't select another category than the one where the service is, if the service is chosen. The same applies to changing service, if one category is chosen you can choose just services from that category. 

    So, in order to edit this appointment by changing the category/service you need to remove them both and you will be able to choose the category and service as you want.

    Just got it now.

    I did not see that the dropdown arrow icon changes to a delete x icon.

    The visual of the hove state change is very decent ;)
