We want to be able to use Amelia to manage multiple spaces/rooms in our business.

For example, we want a class teacher to be able to see which rooms are available, and then book the room for a class.

We then want that teacher to be able to list their class in Amelia and take bookings for that class.

How could I set that up?

    Hello Briony

    Thank you for your purchase.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.

Your employees can be assigned to more than one location (room), but they can only be assigned to that room at time intervals. For example:

    Employee 1 works in Room 1 from 09:00 - 10:00

    Employee 1 works in Room 2 from 10:00 - 11:00

    Employee 1 works in Room 3 from 11:00 - 12:00

And it has to stay fixed, like that. There are no options in Amelia, where they can check the availability of the room before they can book a room for a class.

If you have another way of letting your teachers determine if a room will be free or not, then, you can set up Amelia like this:

You have Locations created, and your employee has no working hours created. Then, when he finds out which room will be available on which day, he can Configure a Special Day in his profile, and assign himself to that Room at the certain date/time. This will make only this room available on front-end, so students can book that service.

    Kind Regards,
