I am seeking to layer a CRM on to the site we are using this on to provide an extra layer of customer data... wondering if you have any reco's or if, like WooCom integration, there is a CRM the platform integrates with nicely... we are able to add custom fields to the appointments with your system but not the users themselves... so seeking that functionality...

    Hello Seth Barrett,

Unfortunately, there isn't an integration of Amelia with any CRM. You can check out the Web hooks feature in Amelia though, with this feature you can send data from Amelia after some actions so you can maybe use it somehow for your use case.

If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,

OK I think we have a workaround but I need some help... is there a filter I could use to make the highlighted in this screenshot link to the users profile in WP? I need a way to get from the appointments to the user but not the customer profile in Amelia as it doesn't hold enough data. I'm trying to get into the WP user area. when the name is clicked. Typically I've used a filter that runs in backend for something like this i'm curious if you have one.

I need an easy way for managers to be able to link to the users profile within WP where we have setup a bunch of relevant custom fields they need to run it like a CRM.

Unless Amelia is adding custom fields for users as well... that would be very huge... but otherwise I need to find a way to make this work.

    Hello Seth,

Unfortunately, there isn't a possibility to add a link to the user profile to the customers name in Amelia. We don't have such filters. This would require custom work, so please note that such customization is not covered by our support.

There aren't any custom fields for customers in Amelia, unfortunately. I will add this feature request to our list so it can be considered for future implementation.

When creating a new Employee you have the option of "Create new WP user".

Problem #1 the NAME for the WP user is NOT the name for Amelia Employee. Instead, Amelia, unwittingly inserts the EMAIL address for the WP name and also for the WP email address. So now I have 20+ Employees in WP without their names in their names for WP. I have to change all of these.

#2 Amelia sets up the WP user account, so there is already a connection to the WP user. Why is it so difficult to be able to store the link in a table is WP User links when the Employee is created with WP Account creation added (already existing option). When it creates the WP user account store the link to it. Show link in Employee profile.

By the way, Amelia is pretty cool, though it could be better. :-)

    Hello Ron,

#1 This is the way creating a WP User works, the email is set for the Nickname in WP User, not the name, so it would be a unique nickname. I will add this as a feature request to our list so it can be considered for changing in the future.

#2 Seth was talking about customers, not employees. In any case, I didn't say it is difficult, but it requires custom work and such customization of the plugin are not covered by our support. But, we add each request from our users to a feature requests list, so they can be considered for implementation in the future as we do implement as many features as we can in each update.

Thank you for the compliments, we try to meet our users' needs and add as many features as we can in each updatesmile.png

Please open a new ticket if you have any questions or issues with Amelia and we will gladly help! Thank you for understanding.

Thank you Marija. You are right about the nick name, but the point really is that the actual name of the person (customer or employee) is not transferred to WP. That means that often I do not know who that WP user is without looking up the email address in Amelia. One cannot know all of the email addresses by heart and who they belong to for their employees, let alone their customers. It just seems like an obvious inclusion that was overlooked. I mean, if you are programming to send data to make a new WP user, then why not just send whatever data you have that WP has places for? While I really like Amelia and I am going to use it, this is the typical problem with programmers being allowed to run the decisions. I work with programmers regularly as a business owner and having my programming team. Don't let them run these decisions if you can help it. Of course, your CEO may be a programmer and then all hope is lost.

    Hello Ron,

    You are welcome.

Yes, I understand your point of view, I added this as a feature request to be considered for future releases of Amelia.

Don't worry about that, all of us have a word in the updates' planningsmile.pngand the options we add or change are all based on our users' requests and suggestions. We do have a lot of feature requests though, that vary since businesses' needs vary as well , and we try to implement as many as we can in each update. The most requested ones are in the top of our list, of course.
