Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful holiday weekend!
hello I was wondering how the calendar synchronization works in Amelia. Is it just one way sync to add booked appointments to the calendar, amend them etc or does it actually check external calendar for availability as well (i.e. Google calendar)?
Hi Renata Clarke,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
At the moment we have 1.5 way synchronisation with Google calendar. That means that once you connect employee with Google calendar, his availability is displayed based on both Google calendar availability and Amelia working hours that you have set for that employee. Once you add new event in Google calendar and set it to busy that time slot is automatically removed from Amelia calendar for that employee so it cannot be double booked. Once your customer schedules the appointment in Amelia the appointment is added in the Google calendar, but if you want to change it (delete, reschedule or something else) you will need to do that in Amelia directly because that is missing for our sync to be completely 2 way.
Best regards.
