I have purchased Amelia some time ago, but never used it because it only integrates with Google Calendar for free/busy times and to sync appointments.
I need a 2-way-sync integration with my CalDAV on my nextcloud or iCloud. Me and my clients try to avoid Google, so it's a real dealbreaker, also as an affiliate.
Other solutions integrate 2way-sync with external CalDAV such as harmonizely or bookingrobin, but I would prefer to use Amelia.
Amelia isn't integrated with any other calendar except for Google Calendar. We're working on implementing that natively, but at the moment it's not possible out-of-the-box.
One customer recently brought up to my attention a service called Syncgene ($5.80 per month). When it's connected, anything they add in their apple calendar (under the primary calendar) syncs to their Google Calendar, which then connects to Amelia.
The only thing is that secondary calendars in Apple sync across to Google, but Amelia doesn't count them in the same way as the primary calendar (despite being set to busy). Not sure why this is, but it works ok for that customer that pointed out the service to us.
You can connect other calendars too (Outlook). Apple Calendars don't play well with Google Calendars, so you may actually need to connect Outlook. I haven't tested this, so I can't provide more info about it.
due to cancellation of Privacy Shield we cannot use any US-based calendaring service at all anymore.
It would be awesome if you could support generic CalDAV integration. Most hosting-providers offer CalDAV based calendars in addition to their webmail, e.g. cPanel. And also Nextcloud provides CalDAV-based calendaring.
I would predict many many users switching from Calendly to Amelia if you would support CalDAV ;-)
Yep , i need this too to sync with horde webmail There is some github code that implements this but it is 5 years old Please add this so we can all avoid google and microsoft
I forwarded it to our developers, so they can work on it in the future. Please note that this hasn't been requested much, so I can't say when they'll be able to include it.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, no progress towards this has been made. There've been too few requests for this, so it's not high up on our "to-do" list.
I'll forward this to our development team again, but I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner
looks like many of your users are still looking for a booking-plugin, which can sync appointments to and fetch available slots from CalDAV-based calendars such as Nextcloud or fruux.com.
Is this something you finally have on your roadmap?
I'm creating websites & portals for clients such as coaches, companies, agencies & freelancers in Germany, Switzerland & Austria. Due to GDPR, an increasing number of clients are shifting from US-based service-providers (like GMail, Office 365, iCloud) to more privacy-friendly solutions such as Nextcloud or Open-XChange. Besides Website-Developement, our agency also provides managed hosting for these applications, so we're constantly looking for booking-solutions, that we can integrate on our clients WP-Sites.
Also, most hosting-companies provide "roundcube"-webmail to their clients, which also comes with a calendar based on CalDAV.
I'm just saying, that integrating CalDAV as an alternative (or addition) to Google Calendar within your solution would very probably increase your EU-userbase rapidly ;-)
It would be great, if you would consider this and do some research on this topic.
I've already started to get in touch with other developers in this field and hope you will step in the game soon.
People that use Amelia don't need to use Google or Outlook Calendar integration - they are the only ones currently integrated, yes, but the ICS file can be sent to each user, so the calendar event is added to any calendar. We have a lot of customers that use the calendars and email accounts provided by their hosting providers, and have no link to Google or Outlook Calendar.
At the moment, the only other planned Calendar integration is with iCal, but we don't have an ETA on that.
I'll forward the ticket to our development team, so they can look into it but please tell me, can we reach out to you again if we need some further info on the topic?

Aleksandar,
Any updates on adding CalDAV integration? We have had a few clients ask about this.
Kind regards

This has been forwarded to our development team, and they'll work on adding it in the future.
There's no ETA yet, but I hope it'll be added in a couple of months.
