We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello TMS Team,
Can I ask you guys something? I just wanna ask if it's possible display data in Dropdown 2 based on selected data in Dropdown 1 inside Table row in wpDataTables?
for example, if I select `Fruits` in Dropdown 1.. the data in Dropdown 2 will be loaded will all kind of fruits like `Apple`, `Mango`, `Banana`, `Grapes` etc.
is it possible to do something like this using wpDataTables ?
Best regards,
Indra
Hello Indra
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
If you're referring to filtering the table, then this would be possible with our paid add-on Powerful Filters.
However, if you're referring to editing the table, unfortunately something like this has not yet been implemented. It will probably be included at some point in the future, although I cannot tell you exactly when that will be.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hello Aleksandar,
Thanks for replying me back.
yeah what I'm referring to is the editing the table data. so if I select `Japan` from Dropdown 1 in Column Country, the data in Dropdown 2 will be loaded with cities related to Japan like `Tokyo`, `Osaka`, `Shiyuba` in Column Cities dynamically.
is there any workaround that I can do to achieve this logic with current wpDataTables version?
Best regards,
Indra
Hi again Indra
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but no.
At the moment there is no workaround for this, because this feature would have to be custom developed.
Kind Regards,
