We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Hi, we purchased WPdatatables with the intention to build a very simple activity tracker for our small business. The functionality is expected to work like this:

    • Admin builds a table with the column headers: user | service_area | activity_type | week1 | week2 | week3 | week4
    • The fields for service_area | activity_type are pre-populated with about 100 rows describing service areas and activities that we do
    • The fields week1, week2 etc are integer fields where a user can enter how many hours were worked on an activity that week.
    • The field user would be populated with the userid from Wordpress
    • We have 10 users (employees). When logged in, each user should be able to enter the number of hours they worked per activity for the fields week1, week 2. week 3 and week 4 of the month. However, after we click 'users see and edit only own data' it appears that the logged in user does not see all the 100 pre-populated rows of service areas and activities that Admin had pre-filled. It seems to us that each of the 10 users would have to fill the same 100 rows describing the services areas and activities again before they can enter the number of hours worked...

What would you suggest for a setup please?

    Hello Aleksandar,

Thanks, thats clear and we implemented this solution.

We found the easiest way to do the duplication was to use 'excel-like' mode to do the pasting and then revert to 'standard'.

    Best, Roger

    Great news, Roger

    Thanks for letting me know.

That's exactly how I would've done it too.

If you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to open a new ticket, and we'll gladly help.

    Kind Regards,
