    Hi,

    I purchased Amelia Appointment. 

    first I noticed just now that there is an appointment theme pro??? what is that and do I need to purchase it as extra?

    Now my question:

    1.

    I will need to customize Amelia to meeting my needs. But first of all I am trying to find my way through it before looking for someone to customize it for me. 

    I will use amelia for: give the possibility to freelance translators and interpreters (employees) to be booked directly by their clients (different kind of clients: government, companies, and so on). I want to give clients access to the booking only through showing the categories as first. Client should choose a category and then go forward the booking process. But: 

    a. Because some of the freelancers would have to perform their service at the clients location: (interpreters and subtitlers) --> need to show the client the location menu

    b. other freelancers will do that from distance (they do not need to go the clients location) --> don't need to show the location menu

    QUestion: how can i do that? link location to the freelancers who need to be chosen by location, and hide location for the freelancers who do not need to be chosen by location?

    2. Can I add sub categories: 

    My freelancers (employees) should be chosen by their language combinations. Is that possible? 

    3. The categories on the front end of the site are black coloured. Can I customize the background colour? how? 

    These are some questions to begin, I will for sure need more help.

    Hello Lazhar, 

    Thank you for your purchase. 

    I am not familiar with 'appointment theme pro' but that is not our product and it isn't in any connection to Amelia so you don't have to purchase it in order for Amelia to work. 

    1. You can add more locations to one employee by adding one (a default one) location in the details section of the employee and then in the work hours you set different locations to different work time periods. But if the employees go to the clients' addresses the clients would need to add their addresses during the booking process and this can be done by adding custom fields. You can read more about the custom fields following this link

    You can put different shortcodes with specified category on your pages - you can create one category and put there the services for the employees that go to clients' addresses and another category for employees that work remotely. And then separate the booking process for these two categories by adding shortcodes for these categories on the page. All shortcodes that you can use on your pages can be found in our FAQ section

    You can check out all the views that are possible in Amelia on our demo sites

    2. There isn't an option to create sub categories in Amelia, only categories and services. You can try setting services as Language service and assign employees to that Language service. 

    3. There isn't an option in Amelia to customize the back-end.

    Colours Amelia:

    I really have an issue with set the colours of the agenda correctly. Although I delete the cache still I have different colours on chrome, edge and mobile!!!! 

    If I choose black for text colour the whole thing becomes black instead of just the text. The text of the button is then also different from the rest??????

    Also there is a possibility to add extra but I don't have access to it.

    I really tried everything, deleting the cache refreshing closing the browsers and opening again, even restarting the laptop... nada... I think I cash back my money, how can I do that? You know when your purchase something you expect it to work perfectly, sometimes you need to fix some issues but this is absurd to have already bugs and issues with the most simple things: customizing the colour what are talking about? 

    I wanna go further not spend hours trying to customize the colour to fit my theme, it should so easy now I didn't have even time to look up the others issues. Money back!

    Hello Lazhar, 

    Sorry to hear that you encountered troubles with the color customization of Amelia. 

    After each customization in Amelia -> Customize in the back-end, deleting cache will show the new colors that you set. If you have already done that and have an issue with not getting the colors that you want , this can be caused by some conflict with the theme that you use, maybe it sets some CSS that is global and it is overriding our CSS. 

    You can check if the theme is causing this by changing your theme, if the issue still persists maybe it is caused by some other plugin or check any other customization that you did on your website. After each change just please delete cache.

    If you want, we can check this - please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    In order to request a refund, you need to login to http://store.tms-plugins.com/ with the credentials you received in the e-mail when you purchased the plugin, then navigate to Purchases/Amelia, and if you're still within 15 days from your purchase you will see the "Request Refund" button.

    yes but deleting the cache everytime means login in everytime in Wordpress which not helping productivity!!!!

    Hello Lazhar, 

    You don't need to login every time to delete cache, just when you make some customization to the plugin in the back-end delete cache afterwards.

    Hello Lazhar, 

    Maybe we misunderstood each other - when you login to WordPress to customize the plugin you can delete cache afterwards you don't need to log out. 

    You can also always delete cache in your browser, since if you haven't visited that page with that browser, you will see the customization.

    I am not sure what you did exactly for customization but this is how I see Amelia on your page (I visited the website for the first time)

    OK, I will check it out. 

    As I can see on your screenshots the customize that you set in Amelia is shown on the front-end: you set the color of the text to be blue and it is, and you set the background color to be black and it is.

    So, I am not sure what exactly is the issue?

    this is the issue: when I change the background colour, it is not only the background colour of the category blocks which changed but also the background colour of the calendar!!! and of course logically the buttons are not visible anymore!!! see attached

    I just asked for refund in the meantime I tried to explain to you what my issue is. Changing the background of the category boxes affects the background colour of the calendar and the buttons become invisible. So also other issues like "add extra" button is not working...

    Hello Lazhar, 

    'Primary Color' and 'Primary Gradient' are for the calendar background, Text color is for the color on the left side and Text Color on Background is for the text on the calendar. 

    The reason why you have the grey calendar is because you set the Primary Gradients to some light grey colors.

    The screenshot that you sent me doesn't show the calendar but the services/categories (which is set by the Text color).

    no the services/categories background colour is set by the text colour on background!!! but I think there is some misunderstanding, that's why a chat is better then messages. You should consider this, we are busy with this stupid issue almost 3 hours!! 

    I did not receive any confirmation of my refund request is that normal? I don't wanna spend more time on this plug-in. You don't seem to understand my issue.

    is not working properly. the background colour of the services/categories should be set by another way separately. 

    Please ask for my refund. I wanna search for another plug-in as I lost a lots of time!

    thx anyway and you should really consider chat options when there is some understandings for nothing like my case now. Although you are responding to my request still this means that there is no one else on the support but you and that's no good!

    Hello Lazhar, 

    Sorry that you don't find Amelia suitable for your business and that you encountered some issues while customizing it. If you need some different customization than the one set in Amelia -> Customize this can be also done with adding some custom CSS/HTML as the one I sent you in the other ticket.

    As for the refund, if you requested it in the store as per the instructions I sent you bellow, that is OK, you will not receive any confirmation. Please note that the request needs to be processed and the process requires usually from 3-5 working days (weekends are non-working days) since the refund needs to go through our sales provider as well (Paddle).

    Hello Lazhar, 

    Yes, that is OK, the colors that you set are correctly shown on the screenshot with the calendar. If you want to see the text in darker color you need to change the color in Text Color on Background (since it is white now you can't see it on that background).

    That's what you don't seem to understand. By doing so, changing the color in Text Color on Background, let say in black, I will get the services/categories also set in black!!!!!! And I do not want that. Do u get it now?

    Hello Lazhar, 

    I understood that your issue is with the look of the calendar, not the boxes for categories/services. 

    This can be changed with adding simple custom CSS/HTML to the page where you have your Amelia shortcode.

    with booooooothhhhhh!!!!!!!! There is some problems with customization the colors of the whole amelia colors. I am not good enough to do some css/html as you are suggesting.

    Why is this coded so badly? Why won't give the customer the free possibility to customize the whole look-a-like of amelia? I should be able to do what ever I want with the bg colors, text colors and other colors. This is the basics!!!!! Why is that?

    I was happy to discover Amelia but bow I have to search the net once again for a better plugin. These issues should be possible to be checked on the demo and at the pre sale. I wouldn't have paid if I knew that simply things like these would drive me crazy...

    At the moment, these are the customization options available in Amelia and this is how they work. I will add your suggestion to our list and we already have more customize options planed for implementation in one of our future releases. But for now I can't say which will be the exact options available and when.

    Unfortunately, this is a question for that coder, if they will be able to customize it per your requests. But if the colors are the only things you want to change these can be done easily with custom CSS/HTML.

    no this is not the only issue. There are many. Amelia is for me basic, it has to be customized to my needs:

    - the congratulations form needs to be customized

    - postal codes instead of locations

    - resumé form before confirming booking (see attached)

    - pricing based on hour price of the employee + distance between postal code of client and postal code of employee

    - and more

    Hello Lazhar, 

    Colors can be customized by finding the selectors of the elements that you want to change and adding them properties for the colors. You apply it then on the page where you have Amelia shortcode. They look like the one I sent you in the other ticket (custom HTML). 


    If you have already requested a refund in our store, you won't be able to use Amelia if you don't purchase it again.

    I know I will use the days of payment left to try to customize it to my needs, and if it's ok I will buy it again but for lifetime
