Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi,

In my usecase i have employees that work in cycles which aren't exactly weekly. Like for example Monday 08:00-13:00 in one week and Monday 13:00-18:00 every other week.
    How can i configure that?

    Thanks for your help

    Hello André Saage,

    Thank you for your purchase.

Unfortunately, there isn't a possibility in Amelia to set a schedule for employees on two weeks, like you explained. The workaround would be to create Special days for the employees since the special days are created to override the usual work hours set in the employees' Work Hours tab.

If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,

I'm afraid that will be a ton of work... :(

    Will it also override company-hollidays?

Is it possible to retrieve the available work hours from a google-calendar?

  • [deleted] replied

Yes, unfortunately, that would require some extra work.

The employees' work hours are taken into consideration for the time slots, so yes, this will override the company's work hours.

You could achieve this, but you will still have to do some extra work, since you would need to set the employees' work hours to be from 8 to 18, for example, and then create Busy events in their Google calendar for different times each two weeks that would block these time slots for booking in Amelia.
