Hi, hope you can help me urgently. My client has a free service. Why do i need to choose a Woocommerce product?
Why can't I select the option 'pay at site' for a service once WooCommerce is activated? Now the visitor that books the appointment is lead to the shopping cart where they have to 'pay' for a free product. Please tell me there is a way around that?
yes i saw that. She was linked to the wrong location.
I get that linking a person to a location is useful when you have a gym or something. But it an online business or consultancy business the location should be linked to a service rather than the person. For example, we have a service for an online meeting and workshops on different geographical location, but all done by the same employee.
We already have plans for enabling availability based on location instead of the employee. However, that's still under development, and is not included in the plugin.
I hope our developers will be able to add it soon, as it has been frequently requested, but I cannot provide an ETA on it.

In your documentation it states that it should be possible: https://wpamelia.com/services-and-categories/
I wil attach a screenshot in the next replay showing that i cannot activate 'pay at site'.
this is the screenshot showing i cannot activate woocommerce AND pay at site.
Client has version 2.3.2 of Amelia installed.
Hello Debbie
Unfortunately, WooCommerce integration doesn't allow any other payment option to be used other than their own.
You have the "Cash on Delivery" option in WooCommerce itself, and you can take a look at this thread to see how you can set it up.
We will include the option to skip cart for free products in the next update, but until then, you can add this script above the shortcode:
And it will work - it'll skip WooCommerce if the price is = 0.

Awesome! Do you also have code to set the venue to a certain value?
I can't set the default venue for a specific service (can't anymore?).
Adding 'location=2' to the shortcode manually causes a spinning hourglass. Either like this:
[ameliabooking service=1 location=2 employee=1], or like this:
[ameliabooking service=1 employee=1 location=2]
Hi Debbie
The employee also needs to be assigned to this location. You can configure that in his working hours, per time intervals.
You probably don't have any employees assigned to this location, and that's why you see the spinning hourglass.

Is there a separate topic about this already?
