The data is read from the data source every time the page loads, and currently the plugin doesn't have the ability to create a 2-way synchronization, so you can only display the data of external sources when you link to them (Google Spreadsheets, Excel, CSV, XML, JSON and PHP Arrays).
You can import the spreadsheet, but in that case, the plugin will create a new manual table from Google Spreadsheet's data, and it will be editable, but it will not be linked to the Spreadsheet anymore.
Hi,
Why is it not possible to diplay editable data from a linked Google sheet?

Hello Bo
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
Kind Regards,
