Hey there, Awesome Customers!
Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.
During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.
We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Catch you on the flip side!
Warm regards,
TMS
Hello. I can't seem to figure out why our mobile site is showing old data in the tables when our desktop site has the updated data.
Also, unrelated, I'm trying to figure out how to customize the look of our tables. The columns are far too wide and we are looking to squeeze them as best we could to prevent constant scrolling.
Hello DFSKarma
That sounds strange - the table should display same results both in desktop and in mobile.
Can you please show me the URL where that table is located, so I can inspect it, and see what's going on?
If you enable "Limit table width", you can define column width for every column, through its settings. Another way would be with some custom CSS.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hey Aleksandar
Here are two of the links (same for desktop and mobile):
https://www.dfskarma.com/nba-dd-dk/
https://www.dfskarma.com/nba-dd-fd/
Also, we have recently been experiencing an EXTREME lag of updated data on mobile. We power the data through google sheets and see it almost instantly on desktop, and upwards of 20 minutes on mobile for the same page/table.
I will look at the "limit table width" feature now.
Just checked the entirety of the plugin and don't see an option for "limit table width" anywhere.
Correction I just found the limiting option when creating a completely new table.
Hello again DFSKarma
I checked the tables on desktop and mobile, and the data is the same (see attachments).
There is a cache on the Google side, so when you update the table it might take up to 5-15 minutes to be reflected in wpDataTable. This should be the same behavior for both desktop and mobile.
Are you maybe using AMP, or something similar that could be causing the issue with mobile devices?
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

At times it can be the same, but it's a rarity. As of this moment, https://www.dfskarma.com/nba-dd-dk/ shows different data on desktop and mobile.
I do currently have AMP active. I will disable it to see if it results in a positive fix
Hi again DFSKarma
I'm sorry, but I can't replicate the issue on my end. I don't see any different data in mobile view - it's all the same on desktop and mobile.
Have you tested with AMP down? Did it work?
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
