Hello,
I am wondering how Amelia is capable of handling appointment reservation and payments.. can I, for example, have a policy where people pre-pay to hold the date (tied through WooCommerce), and then if they cancel with less then 24 hours to go they can reschedule but only get half back as refund for the late notice? Like Acuity Scheduling does?
In other words, can I set my own refund and rescheduling policies, or is it all-or-nothing when it comes to refunds for missed appointments?
Thanks!
Hi Oxana,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
We don't handle refunds in our plugin at the moment. The payment can be on-site or all during the booking using PayPal, Stripe or WooCommerce. You can also set Minimum time required before canceling to be 24 hours before the appointment, but if customers cancel the appointment you will have to do the refund outside of our plugin.
Best regards.
but how do I know which user to send the refund too ? On stripe it shows some random ID. I cannot determine which person is which.
there is no information to see the customer Id that matches the stripe and Amelia ! I’m sure you have thought about this correct ????!! How can I determine which customer to refund ?? In this case it was an event
Hi Amir,
We have option in the database that you can set to send customer's data to Stripe and we also plan to add that option directly in the plugin for the future updates, until then it is possible to set through the database. For more information how to set this please contact our premium support in the Amelia section of this support platform.
Best regards.
I have already opened my own ticket here as any tickets here require the purchase of Amelia anyway right ? Do I need to wait for my ticket to be replied ? I need this done ASAP.
Hi Amir,
Marija has already answered to you about how this can be set through the database, so you will continue on that ticket.
Best regards.
